With summer upon us, many have asked us:
What type of fan would suit me!!
So here is a little guide to enlighten you in the field of Ventilo :)
First, there are a few types of fan:
- on foot
- of table
- towers
- floor
all these models will be useful depending on the use you make of them!
For starters, the pedestal fan. It's the most popular! Normally a 16 inch palm size, it is ideal in a room where floor space is available and will make ideal continuous cooling since it will create a wind at a height of approximately 40 inches from the ground. . So during sleep the circulation created by the wind will be at a perfect height. In the interim, you will have deeper/recovery sleep.
Next, the table fan. Often will be used when floor space is tight! It will normally be positioned on a table or desk which will also create a vent about 40 inches off the floor so ideal for a bedroom too! The size of fin will be 12 inches with a motor similar to that on foot. In the end, it will be barely less efficient than its big sister :)
The towers, often will have a more attractive design than the popular models. They are very ergonomic so easy to hide in the corner of a room where we don't want to spoil our decor too much. They will be ideal in a living room or a relaxation room! In terms of performance, they are less strong than the round models and will produce a wind about 24 inches from the ground. Prices can be more than double that of basic models but in some cases will be a good investment.
Finally, the commercial-style floor models. Typically they will have 20 inches of fin and they have a stronger motor than previous models. From a design point of view, they are very down to earth. They will create a wind about 18 inches above the ground and much more powerful than these rivals! One advantage of this model is that it is only 4 inches deep. This model is ideal for those who want power for their money :)
Hoping to have enlightened you on your questions, Have a nice summer everyone :)
